Ipads to hospitals throughout the U.K.

A clinical care matron in a London hospital, the niece of Sister Mary Ann CJ, of the English Province, sent a simple text message to her family, saying she needed iPads for her patients. This was taken up in a big way by one of her cousins, a C.J. alumni. iPads allow patients to communicate with their families at a time when visiting is impossible, during the current pandemic. In some tragic cases, iPads allow patients to say goodbye to their loved ones for the last time, meaning they will not die alone.

To date £4,100, including contributions from C.J. sisters, have been raised, and iPads are being distributed to hospitals throughout the U.K.
